Gowen Field Memorial Park - Gowen Field, Boise, ID


On March 19, 2015, the pillars that composed the original gate to Gowen Field were moved from the Idaho Military History Museum to the entrance of the Gowen Field Memorial Park.

The Honor Guard prepares to render honors.

  Retired Chief Master Sergeant Pete Glick was the keynote speaker.

  Some of the bricks that were dedicated.

WWII Reenactors and members of the Idaho Military History Museum fired a 3 volley salute on a 75mm pack howitzer. 

Members of the 25th Army Band played several numbers including TAPS.

    This tribute to MG Lafrenz is at the entrance of the Memorial Park.  The image next to it is a close up of the fountain.
