The Event calendar for the remainder of 2009 is as follows:
12 December 2009 (Saturday) - Please join us and the Navy Reserve at the Museum at 10:00 a.m. as we pay tribute to those who lost their lives on December 7, 1941 "a date which will live in infamy." Click here for a flyer. Following the commemoration, the Navy Reserve will conduct a change of command ceremony inside the Museum.
Our planning committee is putting the finishing touches on the 2010 event calendar. Stay tuned! |

The Memorial is to honor all Idahoans who have served our country from all
branches of service.

coordination on Landsman Barters Medal of Honor, spoke after unveiling the new
Medal of Honor Exhibit.
Latah County Commissioner Kimmell spoke briefly, expressing appreciation for all the efforts to get Landsman Barter's Medal to Idaho.
In recognition of National Medal of Honor Day, Larry Thomason, great grandson of Philippine Insurrection Medal of Honor Recipient read Longfellow’s citation and
Dennis Neibaur, Fifth Cousin of Thomas Neibaur, WWI Medal of Honor Recipient, reads Neibaur’s citation.
We were honored to have Medal of Honor Recipients MAJ Ed Freeman and Col Bernie Fisher join us on this historic day.
